A before and after views of the die-cast zinc mixer control abrasive belt polishing. Whirlpool supported now 6 SM Stahl robot polishing cell, supplied and installed by Ashley Moore, managing director of Alvar Process Technologies. Before installing the new equipment, the rejection rate of the paint as high as 20% of total throughput and the expected life cycle of a polishing belt was around 100 parts.
