This was intended as an update of my first mixer: a 5 quarts bowl lift KitchenAid mixer. I think if KitchenAid has a design in which the mixer lifts instead of the bowl, at least 7 quarts, I would change.

I gave it four, because when the dough has been mixed, and when I poured in the pan, I noticed that the compound Wednesday in the lower bowl was mixed at all. The mix of dust was still in its original form. I have a friend who said she also experienced the same as you. Could be a bug with a lift?

This is a kitchenaid attachment that I built. kitchenaid does not sell these. It makes Cavatelli perfectly every time. I can build you one.
